Horse & Rider Session // Karlee & Quintessential Q {2021}
As I write this blog, I am getting ready to photograph Karlee and Q in the ring at Thunderbird Show park, which will be my 5th session with them! They are officially my most photographed horse and rider pair and I never get tired of having them in front of the camera. Be sure to keep an eye out for their Thunderbird blog post in the next little while!
When I started taking pictures of Karlee and Q, they were just at the beginning of their journey, Q was a “baby” horse and Karlee was just getting to know him and his quirks. Now he is a grown-up horse, who seems to keep growing every time I see him and he and Karlee have begun to accomplish amazing things together! I have loved to watch their journey together and I know that it is still only beginning, with many chapters left to write. It is obvious that their friendship and connection has only become stronger over time as they have grown together and learnt to trust in one another.
