🎄Karlee & Quintessential{Christmas Mini-Session}🎄

I know, it’s far too late in the year for Christmas posts now, we’re almost at Valentine’s day! I just can’t help but hold onto the holiday season as long as possible, not to mention the fact that I’ve been beyond busy this last month! I promise this blog was worth the wait though! Karlee and Q were a completely adorable pair and the best models and I might be a bit biased for Quarter Horse’s but I totally fell in love with Qbert, who wouldn’t though? He is just so cute!

I had always thought Q was a bay from seeing him on Instagram and was surprised to find him sporting a black dorsal stripe. Karlee explained that he had “changed” colours multiple times since she’d owned him! Clearly he likes to keep things interesting! His colour and dapples were completely stunning though and I was excited to capture his uniqueness. Learning more about his story with Karlee, from being pronounced un-sound to competing in the grand-prix ring, it was clear that this partnership had something special!

Watching Karlee and Q interact, it was obvious that they had built a special partnership. Q was distracted and impatient at times, as most 5-year-old horses are but Karlee was patient with him and he gave us some very handsome modelling moments! It was clear that the challenges and triumphs that they had experienced as a partnership had helped to bring a strong connection and understanding for each other! Every time I see Karlee’s videos on my feed, this partnership is accomplishing new things and always looking better than the last time! I can’t wait to see what this partnership will accomplish since they are only just at the beginning. I’m so glad I got to capture the beginning for this partnership, since the excitment and joy in new memories is unlike anything else.
