Horse & Rider Session // Morgan & Bijou

I think there must be something in the water at Ashbren because damn, every partnership I photograph there are total models and these two were no exception! It was my first time photographing Morgan and Pink (Bijou is her show name) and they were totally perfect models, and made my job so easy! Their connection was equally effortless, a testament to the bond they have built over 3 years together. They shared a wonderful friendship and a clear appreciation for one another. Their connection was light and easy, filled with laughter and simple smiles. Some connections are so pure and flowing, a simple expression of friendship and care between two souls that there are not many words that would do it justice, so please, enjoy the beautiful words written by Morgan herself and then the images to capture their wonderful bond.

“I’ve had Pink for 3 years now, I was riding her for a couple months in lessons at my old barn before her previous owners decided they were going to sell her. Things kinda just fell into place and next thing I knew I was a horse owner. Even now after three years I’m still learning about her and figuring her out, we’ve come such along way!”
