Tori & Pear {CovEared Up Customs}

The last time I had seen Tori had been Summer 2019 at Amberlea Meadows for the Edmonton Classic but I had been thrilled when Danielle suggested her as a model for the CovEared Up Customs shoot. I knew that her and Pear would be excellent models and was excited to work with her again! Her and Pear had both been so easy going and fun to work with last time, so I knew that they would both be perfect for the session. I was proved right when I got there and Tori and Katie both had their bags of bonnets ready to work with.

Pear was our second model after Katie and just as eager and easy to work with! He loved looking at himself in the mirror and admiring his appearance but he certainly loved the horse treats even more! Getting his attention was super easy with shaking the bowl of horse treats, but chances are you’d have his entire nose in your face 2 seconds later! Food motivated is an understatement! He looked dashing in all the bonnets but I think my favourite was the navy blue, which complimented his chestnut coat perfectly!

Photographing Tori and Pear previously at Amberlea had been a much more rushed experience, as horse shows typically are, so it was wonderful to get to know them both more on this relaxed and snowy afternoon! Pear was calm and collected, like a cucumber, and not a whole lot fazed him. He and Tori just celebrated 2 years of their partnership and it is clear that in that time they have built an understanding of one another that they are lucky to have found. The pair truly compliment each other in the best ways, both in the show ring and outside and it was a treasure to capture more of their partnership.
