Horse & Rider Session // Shelby & Olympia

There are days when I get to capture something so cool with my camera that it truly does not feel like work at all, this was one of those days. Shelby had a magical vision of herself in a beautiful red dress, bareback on her beautiful friesian Olympia and I was delighted to make it come to life! These two had such a magical and ethereal quality about them, something larger than life. It is easy to get caught up in the athleticism of the sport, and the hard work that comes with being an equestrian but taking the time to revel in the fairytales that horses let us live is so important.

I truly don’t feel like my words can do justice to the fairytale that we created in these images. In these images, you will see the connection between these two and the talents that they share. They share a magical partnership.
