🎄Devon, AJ & Tycho{Christmas Mini-Session}🎄

At the time of Devon's session with her puppy, I remember thinking that it was a cold day and being worried if my car would start. Now it feels like -34 degrees Celcius outside and I wish I could have the "warmer" December weather back! Whether it was actually cold on that December day or not, her adorable canine Tycho certainly didn't seem to mind and I'm betting even on a day like today he would be happily frolicking around in the snow, at least if he's anything like my dog!

Devon and AJ were both welcoming and warm and happily braved the cold to get some playful pictures with their puppy. Tycho wasn't much different from photographing horses and was happy to romp around in the fresh snow and playfully run around, sitting still in front of the camera though? Not such a huge fan! I'm one to believe that you've got to work with the animals since you can't explain to them what is going on and so we all happily played with Tycho, capturing a few formal portraits when the moment allowed, or when Tycho allowed!

It may not have been a beautiful summer day, or even a warm winter day for that matter but it was so much fun getting to know Devon and her little family and getting to play with the rambunctious Tycho. It was obvious that both Devon and AJ adored their canine companion and it was a treasure to capture the joy he brought to them both. It was a wonderful and easy day, since who isn't smiling when they are playing with a puppy! Tycho may have been a bit older than a puppy but it was obvious he was still one at heart. He was a reminder to stop and enjoy the beauty of life, like fresh white snow, even if it's a little bit cold outside! We all could use to spend more time with a dog and maybe learn a little bit about life from them.
