Christmas Mini // Currie Family

My first Christmas Mini was with the absolutely lovely Currie family! I had photographer Daila earlier this summer (check out her blog HERE) and was so excited to be booked again to capture some shots of their beautiful family, fur babies included! Every year I get a little bit giddy for the Christmas Mini’s; it gives me the opportunity to get in the holiday spirit way earlier than everyone else and I get to meet so many amazing people and horses in such a short period of time!

The Currie’s session was actually my coldest session so far this winter (hasn’t this December been crazy warm so far?) and despite everyone’s smiles, I promise you we were all freezing! They were all troopers in the cold weather and Daila in particular was determined to get the most out of the day, even if it meant her and Fili freezing a little bit, not to mention her puppy! I truly did appreciate all of them toughing it out in the cold and hope that it is a fun memory to look back on, albeit a chilly one!

I so enjoyed getting to know this beautiful family and capture this special time in their lives! Especially this holiday season I think spending time and appreciating our family and loved ones feels just that more special and it certainly got me in the holiday spirit to commemorate this Christmas for the Currie’s! You can bet I was singing to some Christmas tunes on the car ride home!
