Horse & Rider Session // Charlotte & Hazel
We made it here together! The first blog from a session in 2022 AND the last blog post you are going to see with snowy photos in a long time. I can’t wait to start sharing all the beautiful photos from my spring horse & rider sessions but first I hope you can take a minute to enjoy these images and the beautiful story of Charlotte & Hazel!
Hazel is Charlotte’s first horse and just like my story with Diesel, she found her on Kijiji and the rest is history! Though this pair hasn’t had the easiest start to their partnership, they are working on growing together and building a partnership based on trust and positive reinforcement. Their bond reminded me a lot of Diesel and I in our early years, the kind of connection you get to have with your first horse, especially when you are both just learning together. While there may be rough spots and challenges, it is obvious that a friendship has been forged between these two red-heads that I’m sure will only grow stronger as they share years of memories and learning together!
