Horse & Rider Session // Paige, Simon, Finnick & Dylan

I’ve known Paige for many many years, she is one of the first friendly faces I remember meeting at Colchester stables years ago. Back then it was just her and Simon, but in the years since then, her family has grown beautifully to include Dylan and Finnick, not to mention some cute kitties and canines that weren’t present at this session!

This session was an absolutely magical evening that showcased the beautiful love story shared between Paige and Dylan but also between a girl and her two beautiful horses. I think it is a perfect act of storytelling that shows how horse girls grow up to be horsewomen but that the heart of loving horses, and creating a fairytale life with them does not change with time. It was incredibly obvious that the love shared with this beautiful family is easy-going, heartfelt, and built on trust and laughter. Even in a wedding dress, Paige was as capable and strong a horse woman as if she had been in breeches and boots. It speaks volumes to the dichotomy of horsewomen; powerful and brave yet kind and gentle. It is truly a magical thing to capture!
