Horse & Rider Session // Emilee & Dream

This was a very sweet session with the delightful Emilee and Dream and their third session with me. It was also a very bittersweet session, as this was just a few short weeks before Emilee and Dreams would part ways. It is always hard to say goodbye to a dear friend and a horse that has impacted our lives, but I couldn’t think of a better way to do so than to capture memories that will preserve this friendship forever.

Both Emilee and Dream are incredibly kind, easy going and friendly souls. It is clear that they have helped one another build confidence and strength in their journey together but also that they have shared a deep friendship and love with each other. While they may have only shared a chapter of their lives together, I am certain that it is one that will always stick with them. Now Emilee has been given the gift of a horse of her own, and I’m sure she will take all the lessons learnt from her time with Dream into this new journey! And hopefully these images will allow her to re-read this chapter of her life whenever she needs. While I will miss having this partnership in front of my lens, I can’t wait to see everything that her and her new horse accomplish!
